Learn about Neurology & Psychology
Learn about Processes of Healing & Growth
Go on a Journey of Healing & Transformation
This program deals with altered states, embodiment, group processes, and responsibility, and requires maturity, discernment, and a willingness to look beyond techniques.
7 Day Retreat Program
6 Online Sessions & Certification
These two modules can only be taken together – a requirement for obtaining the Trance Movement™ Facilitator Certificate.
Central throughout this program, is your personal growth. This is an intense, full and rich program, offering a lot of experience and the chance to explore, transform and deeply heal.
There are homework assignments between the first and a second module, before we complete the process together at the certification.

When you can safely surrender to the dance, and allow yourself to be moved from the wisdom and true nature of your body, moments of insights, growth and healing can occur naturally and spontaneously. You learn about different kinds of safety, how to hold space and how to create a safe environment that facilitates such a process for others.

In addition to in-depth experience with Trance Movement, you will explore different universal forms of trance- and movement practices. You will also learn about the brain, neural networks, and other somatic aspects of healing, to gain some perspective and understanding about these practices.

Breath Awareness is a powerful tool to regulate, balance and enhance the flow of vitality lifeforce within you. In many spiritual traditions breathing techniques play an important role. We will explore breath awareness, different types of breathing, and you will learn how to utilize breathwork in your praxis as a facilitator.

In most of our practices, the participants are blindfolded, creating space for deep meditation, surrender, inspiration and transformation. In this training you will explore the effects of darkness in depth, and learn about the important role of darkness and sensory deprivation in Trance Movement.

The essence of trance work, as a facilitator, is to learn to move through altered states, to improve quality of life, and that of others in your community. All cultures on the planet have some form of these practices within their roots. You will learn about the essence behind these skills, and how they contribute to growth and healing.

Sound and rhythm are a vehicle to induce trance, and to direct the journey. Rhythms and melodies take the participant on a journey full of inspiration and adventure. You will learn about the effects of rhythm and music on the brain, how rhythm and movement are intertwined, and get the chance to experience and experiment with organic sounds, from simple instruments, as well as contemporary technology.

You will learn about how trauma often creates unresolved fragmentation on a deep level, and how we all suffer from different forms patterns that keep us stuck there. With Trance Movement, both in group settings and individually, we can get things moving again, and deeply reconnect to parts of ourselves that we have lost underway, so that something original, more authentic, can resurface.
You are not open to a personal healing journey in the course of the facilitator training.
You are new to inner work and are looking for a first introduction to somatic or spiritual practices.
You prefer certainty over inquiry, or ideology over lived experience. You want a fixed formula, script, or technique that guarantees outcomes.
You are seeking validation, status, or a spiritual identity.
You are uncomfortable with feedback, reflection, or examining your own blind spots.
You are unwilling to engage with questions of ethics, boundaries, and power dynamics in group work.
This training does NOT offer:
Quick fixes
Spiritual bypasses
Guaranteed transformations
Or a one-size-fits-all approach
You already work with people as a facilitator, therapist, coach, bodyworker, teacher, or guide – formally or informally.
You are interested in altered states of consciousness, not as spectacle or escape, but as human capacities that require care and skill.
You value embodiment, nervous system awareness, and somatic intelligence over purely cognitive or motivational approaches.
You are willing to question common spiritual language, shortcuts, and unexamined assumptions – including those you may currently use yourself.
You understand that depth, safety, and integrity often require slowing down, not accelerating.
You feel a sense of responsibility toward the people you work with, and you take that responsibility seriously.
You are comfortable with nuance, complexity, and not having simple answers.
If you are looking for a quick fix, or a new spiritual identity, this training is not a good fit. If you are looking to deepen your capacity to hold space you are in the right place. If you feel drawn but – after reading to the bottom of this page – still have questions, you can book a free 20-minute orientation call, where you can ask practical or contextual questions, and clarify whether this training is a good fit for you.
